I think Fauci had absolutely no idea what was taking place at NIAID. He was too busy doing interviews and thinking he was a celebrity rather than running a huge operation. Much has been written about his lack of management ability. Read GOOD INTENTIONS by Barry Nussbaum from 1990....Fauci was a fraud back then and he surely didn't get better. Dr. Mullis (inventor of PCR who conveniently died months before the scamdemic) had nothing good to say about Fauci.

Thanks for the reference. I honestly have never paid that much attention to him, but it does seem like one of his principal flaws is vanity. In any case, he was certainly not the "mastermind" of anything. If you look at the documentary record, it's pretty clear that he was not at all expert in the relevant fields and indeed he admits that. That's what Andersen And Garry said too: that Fauci added nothing to the discussions, "certainly nothing of substance"!

He didn’t start it, but he did go along with it.

If you look at the FOIA'd conversations, this seems to have been the attitude of Collins too: i.e. if this is so important to the Europeans, then okay we'll say the origin is zoonotic...

probably the only time so far he did not lie. He is guilty of going along though. I also think he was the one to take the fall, but for a few million dollars, I think most would.

IDK. The problem is that Drosten did lie and he lied under oath, and he's getting away with it. I've never paid much attention to Fauci. But it seems to me that he was just an opportunist who went along with absolutely everything that was coming from Europe and the WHO. Even Tegnell in Sweden only took a stand for a little while and eventually caved when it came to the vaccines. Fauci appears to be much more politician than scientist. He was not going to take a stand.

I think if Fauci's mouth is open, then he is lying. One I guess could argue sometimes he tells partial truths. A lot of liars do that, but this man is a career criminal who tortured and killed many people. Splitting hairs to determine if at one time he was telling the truth is not worth it. He needs to be brought to justice.

Fauci and Collins put their heads together to debunk and discredit the lab leak theory.

The US don’t get along, they normally lead. And the change of mind of Fauci is clear since the famous call with Andersen and co, following the original email 3x change where the doubt was raised. Then obviously we do not more about what went on behind the scenes because emails were deleted or sent to private addresses. Now, far from defending Dorsten but Fauci and Birx have been major leaders in this exercise.

Internationally, no way. Look at the last few grafs of my article. Internationally, Fauci and Birx were nobodies. Germany and the EU led. It’s completely obvious from the composition of the WHO investigation team and from the very brief of the team, which - incredibly - was to find a zoonotic source in keeping with the “One Health” approach. This whole story is about “One Health”, and “One Health” was not Fauci’s hobbyhorse. “One Health” was and is Lothar Wieler’s hobbyhorse. But thanks for the comment.
