Drosten was not wrong to be wrong already in 2009 at the time of the swine flu.

In an article in the Sueddeutsche Zeitung 2 Nov. 2009 titled

"Schweinegrippe "Die Welle hat begonnen"" ("Swine flu, The wave has begun" https://www.sueddeutsche.de/wissen/schweinegrippe-die-welle-hat-begonnen-1.140006) Drosten urged people to get vaccinated against swine flu.

He is quoted as saying "The disease is a serious general viral infection that produces significantly more severe side effects than anyone could imagine from the worst vaccine."

Of course, it turned out later that The "worst vaccine"?

Well, the vaccine used against the swine flu, Pandemrix, was linked to narcolepsy.
